DC404 Email List is Down

Sunday, October 23rd, 2016 by narknet

We noticed at 09:54 10/22/2016 that the DC404 email list was down.

The problem seems to be DNS resolution of the kaos.to domain.

We are investigating the problem and will post an update here as soon as we have it fixed.

In the mean time you can join us on the DC404 IRC Channel: #dc404 irc.freenet.net

Saturday October 15th is your DC404 meeting at Manuel’s Tavern at 2pm

Monday, October 10th, 2016 by narknet

If Manuel’s doors are locked and there is a sign saying they are closed until dinner just go to the door on North Highland Avenue or the door in the back parking lot and knock. They will let you in for the DC404 meeting.

Come prepared to share what you are working on. Your project doesn’t have to be complete and slides are not required. (like show-n-tell).

Our meetings are in the Eagle’s Nest at Manuel’s Tavern. Free parking is behind Manuel’s and on the South side across the alley.

From the front entrance on North Highland go in and immediately turn left and go through the dinning room to the Eagle’s Nest in the back.

From the back parking lot entrance make the first right and the Eagle’s Nest will be on your right.

Your missing all the fun

Wednesday, June 8th, 2016 by narknet

If you haven’t been to a DC404 meeting or hanging out on the #dc404 IRC channel your missing all the fun.

Ohai! Didn’t see you there!

Saturday, August 17th, 2013 by dr.kaos

Well, even after  moving the site from a static HTML site over to a WordPress blog, I’m still terrible about updating it. 😉

Anyway, today is Saturday August 17 2013, and not only is there a meeting today, but TODAY IS OUR 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Holy shit.

I can barely believe it’s been 10 years since I started this little choo-choo, but here we are!

Anyway, while I’d planned to have a big shit-kicker of a party to celebrate this momentous occasion… I forgot to plan it, so instead we’re just going to do our typical annual post-DEFCON review / wrap-up.

Maybe we’ll party like maniacs next month? Who wants to help me plan it? 🙂

Anyway, just wanted to take a second not only to update the website, but also to tell each and every one of you — THANK YOU!

Every single one of you  inspires me, influences me, teaches me and motivates me to keep doing this, and I hope that I’ve been able to influence, inspire, mentor and/or teach some of you throughout this decade of dc404 as well.

So, hope you’ll make it out today! And for those that have never been to a dc404 meeting, I hope you’ll make a point of stopping by sometime soon. I think you’ll find we have an incredible community of smart, talented, geeky, nerdy, beautiful people that would love to count you in our midst.

That is all. See you  at the meeting.

Sincerely, I remain,
-dr.kaos
