The end result of the presentation is to change the mindset of an organization’s culture, so they embrace information security as being everyone’s responsibility


Felix Hernandez is an experienced Information Technology, Information Security and Business Development Professional who collaborates with executives to align their strategic goals with technology. Throughout his 20 plus year career, Felix has proven to be a dynamic, accomplished, and results-oriented information technology leader with demonstrated success and expert proficiency in overseeing technology improvement initiatives. Through his engaging and thought-provoking presentations, Felix brings personal and revealing stories of working in the trenches of enterprise IT as a Project Manager, Director of Information Technology and Information Security Consultant.


We will have time after the presentation for people to to share what you are working on. Your project doesn’t have to be complete and slides are not required (like show-n-tell).

We will have a projector if you need it.


We will be running NetKotH CTF

People will be available to answer questions and help you get started.

If you would like to play along in the CTF, you should bring a laptop with your favorite tools installed or in a virtual machine (such as Kali Linux, Parrot Linux, or ArchStrike).

From the front entrance on North Highland, immediately turn right, go past the bathrooms to the First Level room.

From the back parking lot entrance, go all the way to the front doors, turn left, go past the bathrooms to the First Level room.
